Dscans is designed with privacy at its core. All document scanning and processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your scanned documents on any external server.
The only data we collect:
- Basic app usage analytics (crash reports, feature usage counts) to improve the app
- Device information (OS version, device model) for compatibility
2. How We Use Your Information
Any anonymized usage data we collect is used solely to fix bugs, understand which features are most useful, and improve the overall user experience.
3. Data Storage
All your scanned documents, images, and PDFs are stored exclusively on your device's local storage. We have no access to your files. If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be permanently removed.
4. Camera & Photo Library Access
Dscans requires camera access to scan documents and photo library access to import images. These permissions are used solely for scanning functionality and are never used to collect or transmit personal photos or data.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to any third parties. The app may use anonymous crash reporting services to help identify and fix issues.
6. Children's Privacy
Dscans does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page and within the app. Continued use of Dscans after changes constitutes acceptance.
